【摘要】:TheobjectofthispartofIEC60793istolist,andgiveanoverviewof,thedocumentsgivingtheuniformrequirementsformeasuringandtestingopticalfibres,therebyassistingintheinspectionoffibresandcablesforcommercial(mostlytelecommunications)purposes.Theindividualmeasurementandtestmethodsarecontainedindifferentpartsofthisstandard.TheyareidentifiedasIEC60793-1-X,where"X"isanassignedpartnumber,indicatingitsaffiliationtoIEC60793-1.Seetables4to7foracompletelistingofallattributes,theassigneddocumentnumbers,andthecorresponding,previouslyassignednumberforeachmethod:a)optical;b)dimensional;c)mechanical;d)environmental.Ingeneral,measurementsandtestsmethodsapplytoallclassAmultimodefibresandclassBsingle-modeopticalfibrescoveredbyIEC60793-2series,althoughtheremaybeexceptions.Clause1ofeachpartcontainsthescopeforeachparticularattribute.
